We believe in one true and living God, who has revealed himself through creation, history, the Bible, and supremely in Jesus Christ. He exists as Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

We believe in Jesus Christ, fully God and fully man. We believe in his eternal existence, his conception as a human being through the Holy Spirit, his birth through a virgin (Mary), his perfect life, his full and final revelation of God's person and purpose for mankind: his death on the cross as our sacrifice, our substitute and our saviour, his bodily resurrection to life, his present reign as Lord and his impending return to judge and to reward.
We believe in the person of the Holy Spirit. We believe he convicts us of our sin, imparts new life to us when we repent and believe in Jesus Christ; enables us to understand Scripture and to live a holy life, equips us with spiritual gifts, and empowers us to serve God in the church and as witnesses in the world. We believe that all such gifts are available today but that it is our responsibility to "desire the greater gifts" (1 Cor. 12:31)
We believe that the Bible is inspired by God and therefore is our final authority for faith and life. Its message can only be understood as our minds are illumined by the Holy Spirit. God has also called and gifted some to be teachers and preachers to interpret and proclaim his word to us. We recognise such individuals among us.
We believe that God is sovereign over all things, faithful to all he has promised, loving towards all he has made and holy in all he does.

We believe in the universal sinfulness and guilt of mankind; that all are lost, separated from God, at enmity with him and facing the prospect of his judgment, and in need of forgiveness and new life.
We believe that all people are made right with God on the basis of repentance from their sins and personal faith in the person and work of Jesus Christ. Such individuals then enter an eternal relationship with God and evidence such conversion by displaying the character of Jesus Christ.
We believe in the existence of a personal and powerful spiritual being called (in the Bible) the Devil. He exists temporarily to oppose God's purposes, to tempt, to accuse and to destroy our lives. He has been defeated by Jesus Christ through his death and one day will be destroyed.
We believe that at death one's spirit continues to exist. We believe at the end of time God will raise the dead. The believer shall enjoy eternal blessing in a new body with the Lord, the unbeliever will experience eternal separation from him.
We believe that Jesus left certain specific commands for us to obey, namely: to proclaim the good news of what he has done for us, to be baptised, and to worship God and remember him in taking Communion.
