CAP - Christians Against Poverty

YCC has just recently launched itself as a CAP Centre for York East. This quite extraordinary ministry seeks to help people at their most vulnerable with free professional support to enable them to become debt free.

Equipping Track

The Equipping Track is a registered Open College Network Centre. Since its establishment, the Equipping Track has initiated Gap Years, short-term missions, training courses, conferences and study materials. Constantly developing, it seeks to equip church and community based believers in effective discipleship.   

Home Groups

An essential part of being part of YCC is life in a small group. These key home groups serve as a place of discipleship, pastoral care and outreach.

Lunch Club
 

A fortnightly meal served at 12 noon in Tang Hall Community Centre for anyone. This much subsidised meal is prepared with much love; and the regular attendees appreciate not only the great food but the company.       

Grassroots, Pioneers & Dreamers
 

York Community Church has a history of ‘bottom-up’ ministry and organic shapes that develop, mutate, end and re-invent. YCC is a refreshing place of Saturday football, women’s breakfasts, ‘Encurryment’ nites, charity events for global concerns and birthday parties for whoever it may concern!
